We’ve been in our new home for over five years, and we are now on our third MSI LVP floor — all of which have failed.

Both the builder (Carefree Homes) and MSI have spent years pointing fingers at each other instead of standing behind their product and installation. We’ve even had the floors professionally leveled, yet the flooring continues to break and separate at the edges.

We no longer have kids at home and we have no pets, so this isn’t a case of heavy wear and tear. It’s hard to believe that even the first floor didn’t last, let alone that we’re now dealing with the third failed floor.

Carefree Homes has since told us they no longer use MSI products. Meanwhile, MSI has been stalling and giving me the runaround for nearly six months with no resolution in sight.

If you’re considering MSI luxury vinyl plank flooring, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere and save yourself the massive headache.
